This traditional St. Andrews town house is full of character and is only five minutes walk to the 18th hole of The Old Course. The house is on three storeys and has a small, quiet garden to the rear which is a real sun trap. The house is centrally located being a mere 5 minutes walk from St. Andrews castle, the cathedral, the sea, the Old Course, and the town centre shops and restaurants. It is directly across the road from the University of St. Andrews department of Art History where Prince William studied for four years. On the ground floor is the small kitchen which has a gas oven, washing machine and fridge-freezer. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom which has WC, basin, bath and there is also a shower over the bath. On the first floor is the comfortable bright sitting/dining room with sofa, chairs, dining table and TV with DVD. There are steps leading down from the back porch to the garden. On the second floor are the two bedrooms (one double, one twin). Clean bedlinen and towels are included. The house complies with all the required Health and Safety regulations and there are smoke alarms throughout. The bargain pricing of the house is due to the fact that for most of the year it is let out to University students and as a result is not furnished to luxury standards.

The cottage is tastefully furnished with a selection of original artwork on the walls and a wide range of books, videos and DVDs. There is a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and fridge-freezer. The large sitting/dining room contains a wood pellet stove which will be of interest to the environmentally aware as it uses carbon neutral renewable fuel. There is also a TV, DVD player and Video. There are two large bright double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. The bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath and the sun room offers terrific views of the fields and hills around. Dogs are welcome but due to the nearby livestock they would need to be kept under control.
