The Open Golf Championship 2008

The Open Championship was held at Royal Birkdale from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July 2008.

After a brilliant final round, Padraig Harrington successfully defended his Open Chamionship title with a 4-shot victory over Ian Poulter. A disappointed Greg Norman could only finish joint third after a final-day 77, but what enjoyment the veteran gave us over the week.
