Carnoustie, Angus The Open Championship was held at Carnoustie from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22rd July 2007.

Padraig Harrington triumphed after a thrilling 4-hole play-off against Sergio Garcia, becoming the first Irish open winner for 80 years.
